THE WORKSHOP / MODEL 01
Your stairs, in miniature.
A six-step demonstration model with a removable frame, a lifting two-step section, separate walls and small hinges.
This shareable preview includes the miniature and CLS jigs. The detailed standard-installation and flatpack studies are in the private local studio.
BAMBU STUDIO / TEST PROJECTS
A first print plan, in colour groups.
These projects open in Bambu Studio for inspection. The parts are grouped so you can choose different colours for the stairs, frame, walls and hinges.
They were sliced for a P1S, 0.4 mm nozzle and generic PLA on a textured plate. Across seven plates the current estimate is about 389 g and 17 hours 41 minutes. Automatic supports appear on the stairs, frame and hinges, with a removable brim around the parts to help them stick. Check the plate previews, choose your actual filament and reslice before printing.
This is a prototype: the pegs, little hinge leaves and removable pins still need a real fit test. The hinges assemble with pins; they are not print-in-place.
WHERE THE SIZES COME FROM
Real proportions, print-sized details.
The stair width, 185 mm rise, 260 mm going and 38 × 63 mm frame come from the existing standard installation model. That model uses reference dimensions, not a survey of a particular staircase.
The pins, hinge knuckles, fixing pegs and print clearances are enlarged or adjusted so they can be made on the P1S. Real carpet thickness and the way it folds around the hinge still need checking.
TEST YOUR OWN FILE
Bring in an STL.
Preview a local STL and check its rough dimensions against the P1S build volume. Your file stays on your device.
DIGITAL CHECKS
What this model has checked.
Each exported part is a closed solid and its individual bounding box fits the P1S. The lid and hinges were checked for intersections every 3° from closed to 108°. That is a geometry check—not a physical fit, strength or fabric test.
